Purchasing Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Supervisor who is highly organised, proactive, and capable of supporting operational excellence through efficient procurement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily purchasing activities to ensure the timely availability of food, beverage, and operational supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and operations teams to understand purchasing needs and forecast requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while avoiding shortages or excess inventory.
• Maintain proper documentation for purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure purchased items meet quality standards and operational requirements.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to support cost control initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a stand-alone restaurant, Club and Lounge hotel.
• Good understanding of food & beverage purchasing processes and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory systems.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
