• Oversee the daily purchasing activities for restaurant operations, ensuring timely procurement of food, beverage, and operational supplies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best quality products with competitive pricing.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate closely with kitchen and operational teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Monitor market price fluctuations and provide recommendations for cost efficiency.
• Ensure that all purchased items meet food safety and quality standards.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, preferably in Chinese Restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese Restaurant food & beverage purchasing, supplier sourcing, and inventory control.
• Experience handling Chinese cuisine ingredients and specialty suppliers is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong integrity and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
