Sales Executive

Job Summary

To drive sales and revenue growth by proactively identifying and pursuing business opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients, and promoting the hotel’s facilities to prospective guests and corporate clients. With strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a customer-centric approach, you play a key role in achieving sales targets, maximizing occupancy rates, and enhancing the hotel’s reputation as a premier destination for leisure and business travelers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
• Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet both the client’s needs and the hotel’s revenue objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with the events team and clients.
• Forecast and track sales performance, revenue projections, and booking trends.
• Assist in the development of sales collateral, promotional materials, and marketing campaigns.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management / Events Management
• 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity in City Hotel
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Result-oriented
• Ability to work effectively and contribute to the team.
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Must be well-presented and professionally groomed.
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
