Marketing Communication Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Communication Manager to lead and execute all marketing, branding, and communication strategies for our 5-star resort at Samosir North Sumatera. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, managing all digital and offline marketing campaigns, enhancing guest engagement, and ensuring a strong media presence to support revenue goals with proficiency in digital marketing tools including social media, email marketing, and content management systems and demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s annual marketing and communication plan.
• Create compelling promotional materials, press releases, and hotel brochures in line with brand standards.
• Handle internal communications and assist with hotel events and guest engagement initiatives.
• Maintain the hotel’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
• Build strong partnerships with local tourism boards, businesses, and community organizations.
• Oversee photography, videography, and creative assets for all campaigns.
• Track and analyse marketing campaign performance and prepare regular reports.
• Develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media posts.
• Actively manage and maintain social media accounts to create maximum exposure, engagement & leads.
• Schedule & effectively execute promotional campaigns, special offers, and events to drive customer engagement and maximize revenue.
• Perform market research to identify current trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Establish & foster good relationships with influencers, media, and other potential partners to boost the visibility of the brand.
• Develop and manage marketing budget to maximize return on investment for each campaign and initiative.
• Prepare & analyze post-mortem promotion report upon completion of the promotion for evaluation.
• Maintain good working relationship and to work closely with Operational team, Corporate Marketing team and other relevant departments.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field from a reputable college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity preferably within hospitality in a 4-5 star hotel or resort setting.
• Good eye for design and visual communication, with basic design and video editing skills.
• Strong understanding of branding, marketing fundamentals, and market dynamics.
• Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to turn ideas into impactful results.
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Self-motivated and with positive attitude.
• Well-presented and professionally groomed.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing, and content management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in English both verbal and written.
