Corporate Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are currently seeking for a Corporate Business Development Manager who will be based in our Corporate Office in Jakarta.

The Corporate Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for Hotels & Resorts Operating Management Opportunity. Maximizing & enhancing the company’s market presence, and actively participate in project tendering process.

Responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, and analyse potential partnerships.
• Lead the business development in the design and planning of overall Business growth strategy.
• Responsible for effective implementation and compliance of all corporate standards.
• Maximise business opportunities through various channels.
• Generate a strong pipeline of business expansions and to manage the entire cycle from initial lead generation to contracts.
• Develop a trusted relationship and strengthen a long-term partnership with existing and potential Partners.
• Demonstrate consultative sales skills to reinforce high level interactions.
• Map out long-term & short-term expansion plans.
• Conduct feasibility study, market study & competitor analysis for hotel / resort development, expansion, franchise & potential acquisition.
• Explore potential partnerships / investment with local & International Brand.
• Plan out strategies and its execution to widen awareness of MARCLAN Brand in the market.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, customer needs, and market trends.
• Manage business development budget effectively & ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Define project scope, budget estimation, execution strategies, deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with owner & stakeholders.
• Responsible for proposals delivery, requirements documentations and completion of legal documents with project stakeholders and internal legal team.
• Proactively identify and pursue new project opportunities in line with company capabilities and strategic objectives.
• Lead the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.
• Complies with national, regional, and local laws.
• Collaborate with other teams, including project management, estimating, and finance, to ensure seamless project transitions and successful outcomes.
• Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University in business-related, marketing or hospitality education background.
• 7+ years’ experience within sales and specifically in Business Development role in hospitality industry.
• Has relevant experience with international hotel brands as an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability of strong project management, business strategy planning, business development, market research, customer management and organizational skills with a service mindset
• Demonstrated capability in acquiring and nurturing B2B clients and key accounts.
• Knowledgeable in revenue management and distribution channels.
• Innovative & intuitive to keep up with market trends.
• Proficient in crafting creative and best-fit solutions.
• Strong in business acumen for consultative solutions selling.
• Communicates and writes with fluent English.
• Excellent in presentation skills and communicator.
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven & result oriented.
